Host Family Interest Form - For American Families
The Meet & Greet program is designed for newly arriving students who are looking for transportation and/or a temporary home-stay (1-3 nights) with an American family as they wait for their dorm to open or their apartment to become available. Individuals and families from local churches can participate by providing housing, meals, transportation around town, transportation to orientation on campus, encouragement, and fellowship for the students during this highly exciting yet vulnerable time in their life.
Host families are needed 3 times per year, in August, January, and June as new students arrive at each semester. We provide training for new families and ongoing support is just a phone call away. Many local families have had wonderful experiences hosting and have kept in contact with students throughout their time in the US and even after returning to their home countries!
